Participating in State Emergency Resident Relocation Program

Vivant Senior Living is participating in the Agency for Health Care Administration’s emergency resident relocation program in case elderly residents from other facilities need to relocate to a facility not impacted by the virus.*

On March 14, pursuant to Governor Ron Desantis’ Executive Order 20-51 and at the direction of State Surgeon General Rivkees, the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) opened the event “COVID-19 Monitoring” in the Emergency Status System to monitor nursing home and assisted living facility census, available beds, and related information statewide.

Vivant Senior Living follows the Department of Health (DOH) and AHCA’s developing health and safety best practices and their screening and testing criteria for current and incoming residents.

We received the license to our newest memory care home on March 13 but had not opened to new residents yet. So, we’re opening our doors early in case other facilities need to make emergency resident relocations.

We’ll continue reporting available beds in our facilities to AHCA’s online emergency reporting system daily per State requirements.

Vivant Senior Living provides exceptional memory care services in vibrant, residential homes for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia in Central Florida. Contact us about memory care options.
