All of us at Vivant Senior Living would like to welcome Providence Living at Maitland to the neighborhood. Their brand-new facility is a five-minute drive from our Vivant at Versailles memory care home, and it looks fabulous.

Providence Living at Maitland is a two-story, 58-bed boutique community offering both assisted living and memory care services. Some of their touted amenities include a gourmet culinary program, an anytime-access courtyard, and concrete and metal frame construction with an excellent fire rating.
What’s the story behind the community’s name?
According to an Encyclopedia.com post, “In the Bible God's providence, that is, his loving care of men, is a well-known theme. Although Hebrew has no technical term to express it, pequddâ, meaning care or charge, is used in Jb 10.12 of God's providence.”
When did construction start?
According to a GrowthSpotter article, in 2019, Providence One Partners “locked down a footprint next to the Jewish Federation campus in Maitland with the intended purpose to develop a new assisted living facility. According to a deed filed in Orange County, the developer paid $2.85 million for the property on the southern end of the campus. It was sold by the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando after the property at 851 N. Maitland Ave. was subdivided into two parcels.”
After an extensive renovation and build out they opened the new facility in 2021.
