According to their website, "The Westminster Communities of Florida story starts in 1954, with the First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton chartering Westminster Manor, and quickly moves to Central Florida with communities in Winter Park and Orlando."

Westminster Communities of Florida is a "church-related, not-for-profit community service organization." Terry Rogers took over the CEO role for Westminster Communities of Florida in 2020. Previously, he was the President and CEO of Englewood, Colorado-based Christian Living Communities.
According to AHCA, Presbyterian Retirement Communities, Inc. has been the owner/licensee since May 13, 1991, and Westminster Services, Inc. has been the manager since August 2, 1999.
