The Administrator is responsible for managing three memory care homes in Maitland, Florida, for the benefit of Vivant Senior Living’s residents and their families. The employee will have a history of excellent performance in recruiting, hiring, and training non-skilled staff. They will also have a record of delivering improved patient outcomes and converting sales leads to move-ins via phone calls and in-person tours.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ongoing recruiting, hiring, and training a first-class team

  • Manage all aspects of resident care, staffing, sales, admissions, activities programming, food and supplies inventory and ordering, food preparation, facilities maintenance, and administration

  • Lead by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and wellbeing, demonstrate effective communication

  • Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive atmosphere

  • Accountable to maintain standards for quality assurance, policies, and procedures

  • Identify and build local relationships to drive business

  • Oversee the regulatory compliance and financial management of the homes

Qualification Requirements

  • Previous management experience with direct supervision of a team, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and daily operations supervision

  • Prior experience with memory care and assisted living

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations

  • Computer and smartphone proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar, as well as the ability to learn new applications

  • Previous sales or business development experience preferred

  • Current continuing education per state requirements

  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test along with a Level 2 background check

  • Experience with ALIS by Medtelligent assisted living software is preferred

  • Experience with applicant tracking system software to organize, search, and communicate with large groups of caregiver applicants is preferred

  • Experience with employee scheduling, timesheet & time clock software is preferred

Education Requirements

  • Administrator’s license/certification per state requirements

  • Current continuing education per state requirements

  • High school diploma or GED at a minimum

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred

Travel

This job will mainly require local travel, with travel as required to manage the three homes successfully
